Recent Looks

So I thought I’d amp up the posting again with a couple of recent outfits: one uber casual and the other a bit less so (but still casual, because that’s how I roll). I’ve been getting back to black (lol!) recently, and honestly I’m remembering why I started wearing all black to begin with. It’s nothing to do with it being ‘slimming’ or whatever, and everything to do with feeling badass and the general ‘goth’ aesthetic. I’m looking to get some more grey to mix in with my wardrobe; honestly, a part of me thinks I could shed all colour and keep to grey and black but I do like the odd flash of purple and green and red every now and again too much to do that any time soon!

Simple make up, but I like it! I can’t remember which products I used here- apologies! Also my hair is getting pretty long already; it’s insane how much more noticeable growth is when it’s that much shorter. I’m going to be getting my fringe trimmed soon if not the whole thing.

I apologise for how grimy the mirror is in this photograph! I’m also kinda digging this look; I dug out my old faithful Primark fake leather jacket and even though I do think it makes me look kinda boxy/wide I do like it. I’m also loving my Catwoman Converse. Pretty sure I’ll be picking up another pair in this style (but a plain colour), either before I go to the States or whilst I’m over there.

Today was a super casual day. I also blagged this black beanie back off of my mum; she’d been using it when she walks home from work. I enjoy how my make up looked today, too. For some reason I felt like a super smudgey, grungey sort of eye so I used the grey shade from the Beauty UK Twilight palette all over the lid and up into the crease/outer V, and then smudged Soap & Glory Smoulder Kohl in black along the lid and around the lashline. I finished with a slick of Eyeko Skinny Liner to do my usual flick, and then the Estee Lauder mascara primer followed by Roller Lash by Benefit over the top. I also used the MUA brow pencil in Brunette just to keep my eyebrows looking ‘done’ in between waxes! Will have to remember this one, I liked it.

The super-casual look I had going consisted of hoodie, longline vest (a new Primark purchase and I really like it, I might have to get another couple in different colours!) and leopard print leggings. Comfy and perfect for doing a few small jobs in.

Here’s a bonus picture, because I liked how my hair looked when I took off the beanie, and you can see the eye makeup well here!
