Oh my GAWD guys, this is my 100th post! *does a little dance* I’ve stuck with it and -hopefully- brought you 100 posts that were somewhat interesting to read. To the next 100! Also- hello 5000 + views! I know that there are so many bloggers who rack up those kinda numbers in a month but still, very chuffed and I appreciate every single view so much!
On to my sartorial and beauty choices this fine day!
It would appear that I was in a colourful mood today- just wait til you see my makeup! Haha! This lovely kimono top is from George at Asda, believe it or not! I love the fact that these days you can pick up some truly lovely pieces in the supermarket alongside your fruit and veg. A little girl at work told me ‘I love your cardi thing Miss O! It’s got so many colours!’ and that made me smile. I also feel like Stevie Nicks whenever I wear one of my kimono or shawl things and that also makes me smile.
I also wore this lovely Gothic cross necklace, that believe it or not was made for me by my very talented Grandma. She’s a very arty, crafty person and her latest obsession is jewellery making- well, I hope she keeps it up because she’s pretty bloomin’ good at it! I would also like to draw your attention to my complexion, as I believe my foundation blending was top drawer today. I layered more onto my cheeks than I normally do as they were red as fudge when I woke up this morning and I managed to get it so it did NOT cake or go thick and gloopy and horrible. Result!
I told you I was in a colourful mood today! I’m wearing:
- Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow foundation in Believe In Me Ivory
- Maybelline Matte Maker powder in Classic Ivory
- Benefit Hervana Box o’Powder
- P.S. Love pen eyeliner
- Collection No Clumps mascara
- MUA lipstick in shade 9
- MAC eyeshadow in Lucky Green all over the lid, and then Steamy in the outer corner and blended across and into the crease
I think my eyeshadow blending skills are getting better, too. What do you think?
As a bonus, here is a photo of the most exciting part of my day- de-potting! It’s the first time I’ve EVER de-potted any product, and it was so I can start putting together my MAC palette! It was surprisingly fun and a LOAD more straightforward than I was expecting, and I’m happy as Larry as I now have 5/6 products ready for Back to MAC. Yaaay!
