What I Wore Wednesday #2 + A Guest Appearance

Another Wednesday! The weeks are flying past. I must confess; this is actually an outfit from Monday, but it still counts. I’ve got what I think is an inner ear infection, which makes standing up (and sitting, and lying down) unpleasant thanks to the constant ‘oh balls the room is spinning’ feeling. Therefore today’s outfit was a basic black vest and black leggings and no makeup sort of deal and I thought that would be cheating you lovely people.

I can’t make up my mind whether I like these leggings, or not. I certainly like them more when worn under a dress/long tunic top like this, but still not sure if I actually LIKE them. If that makes sense? Probably not! This is a fairly typical work outfit for me, the blazer is one of the most comfortable things I own. Also, because it’s fairly thick and sturdy material that’s still stretchy, it fits really well and doesn’t lose its shape. I also kinda like the colour lots. AND THOSE BOOTS! They’re Doc style boots from ShoeZone and are so, so very comfortable. I sometimes have to cheekily take them off at work, because it gets so hot in the classroom, but they are still so so so so comfortable.

Here was my make up that day. Fairly usual sort of thing, but I was using a couple of new products- a Collection Work The Colour pencil in Hot Chocolate, and the Sleek Face Form in Light. I think the blush in the Sleek palette is their ‘Rose Gold’ shade, and I really like it! It’s fairly similar to my FashionistA blush in ‘Glow’, which I also really like, so I’m happy with that one.

And here’s a bonus for you, my first blog guest!

Look at that little face! She and her brother/lover Spike are so intuitive and know when one of us is not feeling one hundred percent, so she jumped up onto the sofa (naughty but allowed!) for a snuggle and I couldn’t help but take a snap of that GORGEOUS LITTLE CHOOCHY FACE! What also made me so interesting was probably the fact that I had chocolate… which she could not have. But it made her love me so that was all good!
