Daily Look(s) #16

I’m so sorry this post is late, fat fashion fans! My brother’s gig was a great success, even with a lack of people (seriously, they deserved a full house!) so I’ve been recovering from it today!

I’ll first post the outfit I wore for my daily tasks. We went to Hobbycraft. I was in heaven. I didn’t spend anything, though!

That’s a long vest top from Dorothy Perkins, skims over the lumps and bumps and attempts an almost svelte sillhouette! Also got my Matalan floral shorts- it was sunny yesterday- and a trusty longline cardigan, this one I think was from Primark. I teamed this with my studded Primark flats. Nice and casual but not really scruffy. It was an ‘I still want to look good’ sort of day.

Then, of course, in the evening, it was time for dressing up a bit!

I actually like this outfit! I kept the Dorothy Perkins vest, but added a black lace top by Greenhouse underneath. I like the effect, and I think I’ll have to remember it in the future! I’m also wearing my DIY camo vest with patches on the back- I might do a post showing it, it’s something I love and is very ‘me’- and wet/leather-look leggings from Estonia. I also have my trusty, stupidly comfy New Rock boots, and a collection of necklaces- a black rosary, my always-worn Mjolnir pendant and a filigree-effect, oversized skull pendant. The jaw moves, it’s awesome!

I thought I’d take a teen-angst style bent body photo, to show this look off in all it’s glory:

Is it wrong that I actually like this photo!?

Of course, I will also show you my ‘gig make up’ using the products I had to choose from this week.

A bit of a staple, ‘done up’ look for me. I used the darkest colour from the Soap & Glory Lid Stuff palette on my lid, and then darkened this out with the Primark eye pencil, which I also used to ring the entirety of my eye. A few coats of Bourjois Volumizer mascara finished the eye look off! Base and cheeks are the Boots 17 Matte foundation- still not convinced it does what it promises!- and E.L.F. Studio blush in Tickled Pink, and my lips are the MaxFactor Lipfinity tint. It’s a lovely colour, but I actually had to constantly reapply. For a tint, it doesn’t really withstand drinking or eating particularly well!
