Daily Look #12

Feelin’ kinda casual today, Fat Fashion Fans. Only had to go out for a couple of tuition sessions today, might pop up t’pub later for the quiz. I also wanted to rock my new shorts, as it was actually SUNNY today, and I was trying to encourage some nice weather. Can you believe it? The sun still exists!

I’m wearing shorts. I’m wearing shorts. I still can’t quite get around it. I hope you’ll agree that they don’t actually look too bad! They were £6 from Matalan, and are nice and roomy. Underneath are Marisota black leggings, and I’m wearing a plain black long sleeved t-shirt from Greenhouse. I wanted to keep everything else quite simple and let the super bright (for me, anyway!) pattern on the shorts do all the talking. As it was still chilly outside, I threw on my grey hoodie from my dad’s workplace, Windsor and Eton Brewery- they do good beer, it’s always nice to promote an independent brewery! I finished up with my studded converse-style shoes from New Look. I don’t think you can really see it here, but I’m also wearing a green oversized hat from New Look a few years ago- it’s chunky knit with sparkly threads running through. I used to wear it pretty much daily but I don’t really wear it so much any more!

Today’s make up was pretty basic- ELF Studio Concealer palette, MUA Beauty Balm in Light, Natural Collection Sun Tint powder used as blush, and two brown colours from the Claire’s palette on my eyes. I blended out a bit of the Sleek Kajal liner on my lower lash line, and used Benefit Bad Gal mascara on my lashes. No lipstick for me today! I also wore my hair in plaits- I wore the hat because I can never get the back of my hair right when I plait it, and I couldn’t be bothered to take it out and style it properly.

I think my first week of ‘shopping the stash’ went pretty well! I’m not sure what I’ll pick for this week, but 15-20 products seems like it will give me ample choice, no? I just realised how crazy that sounds- I’m sure 15-20 products is a better number to be the entirety of someone’s make up collection! Anyway, stay tuned for this coming weeks picks!
