Sooo, this is my look for today! I wasn’t sure if I was going to get one for you today, but at about two o’clock this afternoon I decided that today would be the day I decide to force myself to be better. Seriously, it’s been nearly a week now, and I’m bored of being ill! Also, my brother and I finally went to see Oz: The Great and Powerful, because I knew it would probably be out of the cinemas this weekend and I wanted to see it so badly! I thought it was amazing, but bro wasn’t so convinced. I kinda had a little bit of a fangasm every time there was a little reference to the ’39 Wizard of Oz! Even though I really wanted to rock my Glinda palette on my eyes in honour of the occasion, I stuck to my ‘shopping the stash’ picks! You should be very proud of me cos it was hard to leave that pretty palette in my drawer!
Sorry for the flash glare!
This may as well be Primark and Matalan: The Outfit! I’m wearing the sugar-skull vest I bought from Primark last week, with the studded flats I bought at the same time, and a leopard print bag I bought a few years ago. Seriously, one of the best bags I own and I used it pretty much every day during my third year of University. No idea why- I probably just decided I wanted to use a ‘bag’ rather than a rucksack! The leggings are one of my several pairs of plain black leggings, possibly from Matalan, and my jacket is my trusty Matalan fake leather number.
Close up of the shirt- I love the skull print! I’m also wearing my gold ankh pendant from New Look- I usually don’t wear gold jewellery, I have a feeling I’ve mentioned that a fair few times before! However, to go with the necklace I wore some gold, pyramid-stud effect hoops from Primark. Is it wrong that I want a pair of gold creoles!?
I’m so sorry for the weird face I’m making! I just could not get a decent shot of my make up. Today I use the ELF concealer palette under my eyes and around my nose, and then just blended out the MUA Beauty Balm in Light; it gave me enough coverage to hide the fact I’m still looking poorly whilst looking casual enough for the cinema. I then used the Natural Collection Sun Tint bronzing powder in the place of blush, and then lightly dusted the rest of my face with it too. I think I might use it more often- it’s a nice colour, and I might get rid of the Collection 2000 blush. It’s just too shimmery and a bit of a strange colour, in my opinion. On my eyes is the Natural Collection shadow in Fine Silver, with Barry M’s Wink on my upper lash line and Benefit Bad Gal on my lashes. Still finding Wink a bit unwieldy! I finished up with MUA’s shade 14 Bare; MUA’s lipstick formula is so lovely and moisturising, I love it!
I also received a box of joy today, being my ELF order from last weekend, containing my Mystery Bag! Stay tuned for a review of everything (I’m especially impressed with my Mystery Bag contents, one of the three products I received was something I wanted to get any way!) but have a quick sneak peak:
