Fat Fashion Fans, brace yourselves; for we are in the midst of a veritable fashion blizzard! For….

It’s awards season! I love awards season! My mother and I will have E! on constant viewing this next week or so, watching the red carpets and Fashion Police until we are sick of cut outs and leg-flashing and voluminous chiffons and sleek silhouettes and sequins and glitter and lace! This weekend we had the BAFTAs and the Grammys, next weekend is the Oscars- it is ALL GO.

In honour of this, you can expect The Fat Fashionista’s own Best and Worst dressed lists, as well as a few outfits (either on me or, what is more likely, via Polyvore!) inspired by my personal favourites.

I will definitely also be providing you with some awards-inspired make up looks, and I might even attempt a tutorial or two if I think they come out right! 😉 I’m personally so excited to try and create a look inspired by both Paloma Faith’s BAFTA outfit, and Florence Welch’s Grammy get-up. Argh! Excitement!

A quick apology f0r my absence since the end of January- it’s essay season again! I have had three essays to work on- one of which is done, yay!- as well as a lot of reading to do, but hopefully I should have a bit of a breather in a couple of weeks time and I will be able to catch up on things I’ve missed. I have a mammoth Sleek i-Divine review that I am working on at present, including meticulous swatches, as well as a review of Urban Decay’s Glinda palette (yes, I know I wasn’t supposed to be purchasing any more make up but I could. Not. Resist!) and a bit of a spiel on MUA eyeshadows. I have a massive list of posts to come!
